Being With the Boys = L.O.V.E!

We got to spend a whole week with Zebby and Ike while Kent and Leisy were gone. We sure all enjoyed being with them. They are such cuties - and we all still imitate their cute voices and funny things they said. :)

Here they are just chillin' at our house:

Coming to grandma's after a WHOLE night of being apart ... these two kept hugging and hugging and hugging ... oh, and giggling and giggling and giggling.  They thought they were being hilarious.  Well, it WAS pretty funny.  :)

Ike ate at least 2 packages of popcycles (which we can all say exactly the way he does -- so cute!)   - and here are Ike and Aaron giving "cheekies".

Ethan and Zebby were little mischief makers:

Grandma and Grandpa bought the kids a kite.  They were all so excited...
(nice pic, by the way - Dad!  hahaha.)

... but it was just too windy for that kite to stay in the air for long.

But - they kept trying and trying and trying.  Here's Zeb running with all of his might to get that kite goin'.  And Krystal and Zeb taking a turn to try to keep that darn thing straight ...

And I just had to post this picture of Krystal's never ending posing.  :)

We just LOVED  being with those cute boys!!

Look who's back in town!

And, they actually left today :( - I have SO many pictures that HAVE to be posted, so the next several posts will be dedicated to our time together.  Ready, Set, GO!!

We spent some fun times together at the park:

Here's Melynda doing what she does best ... playing "getcha" with the kiddos:

Playing "Farkle" with the gang:

Here is Meggie giving her Uncle Kent a biiiiiiig hug - and grandma showing Zeb her mad skills with a sling shot and a marshmallow:

Then, Kent and Leisy left for Australia.  More pics of our times with their kiddos coming up!

Our Snowy Ski Trip

These are all self portrait/cell phone pics - so they are very poor quality - BUT, they'll help me always remember this fun fun day!

Ty convinced me that we needed to go skiing again (I hadn't been in like15 years or so!)

So, here we are all ready to hit the slopes:

The snow started comin' down about the same time we finished our first run.  Here we are mid trip ... rosy cheeks!

And here we are all finished .... sopping wet and freezing cold .... but, oh so happy!  SO. MUCH. FUN!!  I can't wait to go again - and again - and again - and again!  :)

The End.

All the Rest of February 2011

I always forget about the pictures I take with my cell phone.  But - they ARE important to me, and I want to remember these moments forever - so here they are!

My pretty Marissa:

February birthdays:

My Valentine's flowers from my hubby-roo!

Crazy ladies!  Seriously - Krystal is so stinkin' silly and spazzy - and if getting Miss Aeryn to join in isn't proof, I don't know what is!  haha!

Here is proof of one of the lamest ENGLISH assignments Marissa has ever had.  She had to build a memorial for a hero that she wrote a report on (along with a poster presentation ... SHEEESH, that was a lot of work!)  Her hero was Rosa Parks - this bus replica is her memorial.  TOO much work - and NOTHING to do with English.  haha - do I sound bitter at all?

Here's my Missy Dee at THE cutest New Beginnings ever .... all decked out in spy gear.  She had so much fun.  That whole night was so cute!

The End.

Color Fest 2011

Well, we braved the crowds and went to Color Fest this year.  We had SUCH a good time! (Traveling was torture, though!  I can't believe how many people come to this!)

Here are the girls waiting for the shuttle with their bags of colored chalk:

On the shuttle to take us to the Hari Krishna temple (the shuttle on the way back was so crammed full, I couldn't even reach in my pocket to get my camera out).

The girls got started right away:

I can't believe how colorful we all got!
Melynda and I got to go with the girlies.  I was very happy to have her there with us.  She always makes things that much more fun.  :)
Color ... color ... color!  Check out that silly girl in the background of our picture on the left.  haha.

Just about every picture I had of M in action - she is making this face.  hahahahaha.  It really isn't incredibly pleasant to get a handful of chalk in your face and up your nose.  I love Anaka's "all business" look.  :)

Barely recognizable at this point:

Missy's best buds:

Melynda posted a hand print on the back of Marissa's head ... pretty cool looking, eh?

At every odd hour throughout the day there is a 10 second count down ... at which point everyone throws all the rest of their colors up in the air.  It was pretty cool .... and dusty ... and colorful!  We stayed on the outskirts of the crowds, but man - there were a LOT of people - jiving to the live music and body surfing through the swarms of people.  CRAZYLAND!

This was my all time favorite picture!  I love how Sierra and Anaka have these war faces on while they finish up their color chalk - and Marissa is her same ol' "happy go lucky" smiley self.  HAHA!  I just LOVE it.

Here we are:

Cute buds - love these girls!

Thanks for being there with us, M!!  We wouldn't have it any other way.  :)

Bajios for a pre-dinner snack = fun and complete day.

Then, we got to enjoy the Young Women broadcast snuggled up in blankets after hot showers.  What a fabulous day.  Love you, Miss!
