Best Buds!

Aaron and Krystal do everything together. They are Super-hero's together. They play all sorts of things together. They even get ready for the day together. Here are some photos of a day they got dressed and fixed their hair all on their own. Nice clothing choices, eh? Their hair looks pretty darn good also. Thank heavens for Aar-Bear - he is such a help with Krystal. They do pretty good together and stay out of trouble.

Hair Raising Difference

Check out these piggies! Yee-Haw, eh?! Can you believe how much Krystal's hair has grown in the past 9 months? The top left picture was taken about 9 1/2 months ago. Needless to say, I am thrilled that I can finally fix her hair so she looks like a girl.

Our Week

We had a great time at Jordanelle this past weekend. It was relaxing and fun despite the crummy weather. We love being together with everyone! Thank you Mom and Dad for organizing this weekend. The kids keep talking about the fun they had as well.

We went swimming for FHE today. The kids had a blast. I wish the weather would buck up, though!

Tomorrow is my last day of school. Hip-hip-hooray! I had to write two reflection papers today that are both due tomorrow - and can I just say - they have GOT to be the most B.S. papers I have ever written. I just cannot put my heart in 'em - I'm just done. But- I DID finish them.

Anyway-love ya all. M/Kristy - will you post the weekend pictures? (Since we all used your cameras) :)

VEGETABLES! VEGETABLES! VEGETABLES!

The new thing in our house now is vegetables. Vegetables are not necessarily "new" in our house, but we have been eating more vegetables because we are trying to be more healthy. So the best blog we have for now is our VEGETABLE blog, because that's what is going on at our house. We have seen success over here as well. Tyler has lost 11 pounds since starting this new eating craze 1 week ago. Yep you heard me right 11 POUNDS in 1 WEEK.

Blue/ White game

We went to the Blue/White game today and had a blast. We all got some sun, saw a few good plays, ate some hot dogs, and cheered for the cougars. For Brent, here are my observations:
1- The defense seems to be pretty dang good. They seemed to put pressure on the qb's nearly every play, and as it was a low scoring affair, they did a good job keeping the offense out of the end zone.
2- Cade Cooper went down with an ankle sprain (or something like that), so a kid named Gaskins stepped into his place, and seemed to be able to move the offense pretty well. I was probably more impressed with him than Max Hall, although Gaskins was going against the second team defense. Max Hall was good as well. I am not worried about the QB position.
3-A receiver named Torvert (or something like that-see picture above) was excellent. He was playing with the second team Offense, but he had good hands, quickness, and seemed to have an ability to get open.
4 -Running backs looked solid even without FUI. Ray Hudson will be a good back, which will be good for who ever starts at QB. The running game should be able to set up the passing game nicely, which should take the pressure off of the QB.
5- Overall I think the offense will be solid. We have good backs, good receivers, and good (but inexperienced) quarterbacks. The defense is better than it was last year- believe it or not- and should keep BYU in games where the offense struggles.
I included the picture of Harline in the BYU game to get y'all excited for the season.
Those are my thoughts.

Immunize by 5!

Krystal and Aaron both got shots this morning! Aaron actually received the massive kindergarten dosages, and did fantastic. (Need I remind you, though, that I DID lose my hearing when Marissa had her kindergarten shots?) So, in comparison - Super-hero Aaron. He's back to his Power Ranger self (power-rangers are the new thing - if ya didn't know). Krystal, on the other hand, is still complaining after 3 hours now. About every five minutes she say, "She ... hurt me . . . owee . . . leg . . . Waaaaaaa!" Anyway, hopefully she'll be okay soon too. Love ya all!

2 More Weeks To Go!

This is how I feel while I approach these last two weeks of school. I have so much to do - and I'm totally burned out! I'm definitely in count-down mode.

NO MORE STINK BUGS!!!!!

I have personally crunched FIVE of these stinky thinks this week! Ugh!Ugh!Ugh! They are always right outside our door or up by the top of our stairs. I HATE THEM!!! What can I do to eliminate them entirely? Marissa did point out that every time I step on one(and it takes several stomps to eliminate it - let me tell you), Leisy feels sad. So, what to do . . . hmmmm.

I DO IT!

Our little Kryssie-Krys . . . what are we going to do with her? She keeps us smiling and "aww"-ing nonstop! She has definitely been the most independent of our kids . . . and yet, Hanna still tops her by a land slide :)! She loves riding her "Seeoo, Seeoo, Seeoo Do" (Spider Man Scooter) - on her own, no less. She also insists on dressing herself - several times daily - and usually does it right . . . but she still likes to goof off sometimes. Ya gotta love-a-wuv-a her!

I Believe I Can Fly!!!!

Aaron is definitely the Super-hero in our home. We sure love him! We threw the greatest super-hero party for Aaron's 5th birthday. He had so much fun performing cool stunts with his friends. He has always done his own stunts, and this flying show is none other than Super Aaron himself. What a stud!

What a Woman!

Missy Dee has a smile that can charm the grumpiest person on earth . . . and a laugh to match. She's a hard worker and super fun to be around. Look at her on her bike - hooray! She's a social butterfly and loves to be with her friends and talk with them on the phone. She's always kind of been a grandpa's girl . . . and still is. We love our Dee Dee!
