Obsta-COOL Wipe Out!

So.  Young Women's - it is definitely a whole new world.  But, really - the activities are almost a glorified Cub Scouts :)  haha.  For our first combined YM/YW activity - we put together the same "Obsta-COOL" Course that we used for the Cub Scouts just the month before.  And the only difference was:  the cub scouts repeated the obsta-cool course enthusiastically over and over and over and over and over again (we had a point system going - and those boys wanted their score the highest possible!) -- the YM/YW did the obsta-cool course one time and then had a big huge water fight.  lol!

Here's Miss Krystal enjoying as much of the course as she can before a water fight breaks out:

These are the awesome leaders I get to work with.  I. KNOW!!!  I am so lucky.  (these are 2 of the advisors):

My perty Marissa - being with her is hands down the best!

The Big Balls:

"The Splash Down"  = whacking a huge water filled balloon with a tennis racket.  Here's Krystal having a go:

Marissa, CJ, and Emma (Emma is one of my beehives!):

We really have amazing girls in our ward! [Maddie, CJ, and Brianna (Brianna is a brand new beehive!)]

I thought this was so funny!  Marissa is already drenched, but she is welcoming a further squirt down!  haha!

Krystal attempting the "Big Balls"!  (This whole course probably felt so LIFE SIZE to her!)

Mmmhmmm - these are two other ladies I get the privilege of working with.  (Just as I took the picture - someone chucked a big 'ol bucket of water on them - and this was the result. haha.) They are amazing - hilarious, energetic, loving, generous, kind - the whole package.  And - here's me and Brianna:

Claire, Julie, Abbee, Kathryn:

We had a pretty good turn out:

Popsicles for dessert!
Wish me luck!  It's gonna be one heck of a ride.

Girls Nights Out

A weekend away -- with just the girls -- is just what the doctor ordered!  We had so much fun at the cabin with my sister, my cousin, and her girlies!  Seriously.  The best time ever.

We pretty much spent most of our weekend at this table playing fun games and eating good food ... but, ya know - we had a lay down every so often - and ventured out for some rhino rides and shopping ... and ice cream, of course.  :)

Annie's first time playing "9-Down" and she completely destroys the M which = onceinalifetime!! She ended up with a negative 2 this round, which I've never seen happen before! It was awesome.

The object of the game is to get the lowest score. Here are the results.  Marissa won.  But - Melynda was KILLED.  Sweetness.  :)

We played another fun game called "WhoNU" made by Cranium.  Now, I don't if it's the game that is so incredible, or what - but, I have NEVER laughed so hard in my entire life.  We had so much fun playing that - and made it through every single last card in the box that night.  The two littles had snacks, watched a movie, and somehow slept through our loud laughs and squeals and "peeyourpants" hilariousness!  At one moment we all broke out in song ... One Direction, of course (picture of Melynda and her fake microphone.)  :)

Getting some fresh air out on the back deck:

Enjoying some chill time:

Yep.  More gamin' ... and treats.  Can life get any better?

Into Park City for some school clothes shopping ... and a stop in Heber for their yummy ice cream ... and cheese curds!

Mmmm.  Mmmmm. Deliciousness.

M bought these littles some awesome fake nails that they were absolutely thrilled with:

I love my sister M so much - and was so grateful that my girls and I were able to spend an entire weekend away with her!

One of these days I hope to own a Rhino.  They are way fun!

See what I mean?

Marissa got nervous every so often ... and would cover her head.  haha!  Krystal would squeeze my arm:  :)

One of my girls' favorite things is that M pampers them by fixing their hair and prettying them up.  Here's my beautiful Marissa after having her hair fixed by M:

True to Jenson form - Krystal stayed awake to the end of every movie - and the Sophers was asleep within 5 minutes of each movie.  Apparently, a good movie is irresistible no matter how late it gets for our children.  Sheesh!

That get-away was so rejuvenating and fun.We loved every minute of it!

Our Star Spangled Slip-n-Slide Celebration

The best part of the 4th of July is definitely being with family!  (I forgot my camera for our annual picnic at Grandma Greats with the Miller/Rassmussen clans which was lotsa fun - but brought it for our afternoon/evening with the Jenson clan) -

Here are the kiddos ready to slip and slide! (Krystal isn't cold - she is excited - haha!)

See?  Excited.  ;)

And, when I say "kiddos" -- ahem -- I, of course was including that big kid in line ...

I don't know what it is - but, there is just something FAN.TAS.TIC. about Slip-n-Slide pictures!
I. LOVE. THEM!

Tyler's turn!  Sopping wet - and no change of clothes -- but, check out that smile!

Both of these bros got in on the Slip-n-Slide action:

See what I mean?  LOVE these crazy pictures!  :)

And, look what these boys started ... the double dip!

 - or triple dip! -

The end to a perfectly patriotic day = S'Mores:

The 4th of July is one of the best parts of Summer!
