Sittin' Pretty at SIXTY!

Well - it's official. My Dad has hit ... OLD! :) I know ... Right? No one would EVER guess that Mr. Bruno could POSSIBLY be 60 years old. But, apparently 60 is the new 30.

Here he is looking as sharp as can be with his birthday decorated house:
(Right after I took this picture, that "60 - Happy Birthday" sign fell and swooped right into the window well.  Of course, the old man limber-ly retrieved it, no problem.)

The Mom and the Dad:

Whooooo!!  Getting ready for a party (that was halted a little by the HUMONGOUS blizzard tonight!)

Here's the 60-year-old's day:

Afternoon movie - "Legend of the Guardians"

Some X-Boxing ... Cabella's Big Game Hunter

Dinner with the grown-ups at Texas Roadhouse

The oldies:

Birthday cake and Krystal who wanted to sit with the birthday boy:

The blizzard made it too tricky for James and Kristy's gang to make it, and we missed them - but, hopefully the weather will clear up for us tomorrow (or today, I guess - seeing as it is after midnight now) so we can all hang out a bit.

Happy Birthday, Dad!  I hope you had a fabulous day.  I sure love you!

Christmas Morning 2010

We spent the night before Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Brent's house this year. It was fun!

Here is our Christmas morning ... sans words.

We had a fabulous Christmas.  The kids got everything they wanted.  VERY blessed!  It was fun to be at the grandparents too.  Many more Christmas pictures coming soon!

You Better Watch Out ...

... and these kiddos did! They were so good this year.

Here they are sitting on Santa's lap as per tradition at Grandma and Grandpa Jenson's house.

Krystal asked for Princess Stuff ... like shoes and things.  :)  Aaron asked for golf clubs and a Mystery computer game.  Marissa asked for cool stuff for her room - when Santa asked for specifics, she said, "Surprise me!"

Santa always gives us a Christ centered message that is fabulous.

And we sing lots of fun Christmas songs ... Tyler REEEALLY gets into the singing, as you can see in this picture.  haha!

The kids LOOOOOOOVE to see their cousins ...

Seeing Santa is a great tradition that we always look forward to.

Ty's Trip to the New Mexico Bowl

Ty had so much fun with his brothers in New Mexico - and has vowed over and over again that we ALLLL   are going to the next bowl game ... whereEVER it is!

Here they are in "Old Town" Albuquerque:

Lots of fun shopping ... I wonder if Tyler even bought one thing, though? ...  He's not really the "shop 'til ya drop" kind ... man, he really needed me there by his side.  :)

The day before the game, the bowl game hosted a pep rally that Ty attended.  He claimed it was amazing .... with lots of fun events.

Here's Brandola getting interviewed by Fox 13 News:

At the Pep Rally ...

Apparently Tyler and Cosmo really bonded - the one thing Tyler had to say about this picture is, "uhhh, yeah - Cosmo rubbed my belly."  HAHAHAHAHA!  The picture doesn't show the belly rubbing ... but, I think Ty's face might say enough:

Lots of amazing entertainment at the Pep Rally:

Ty also attended the BYU fireside the night before the game - which he loved.  And then, they all woke up early the day of the game for a BYU breakfast:

Here is the T-man, pre-game, sizing up Chad Lewis.  Yeah.  He is a giant ... but, Ty says he can take him.

So excited for the game!!  And the cougs did NOT disappoint!

Pre-game hype.  "The fly over!"  (I thought this was a really cool picture ... I love the black lines trailing the jets -- makes it feel more real to me.  :) )

"Here we go Cou-gars!  Here we go!"

One of Aaron's good buddies is Luke Ashworth's nephew.  Ty saw Aaron's buddy at the game - and here they are with Luke himself.  I'm pretty sure Ashworth is Aaron's favorite player, so he was stoked to see this pic!

Tyler and BYU football ... there's just this connection, ya know?!  I suppose I'll never understand it ...

And ... he even made it on our big screen at home!  Here he is (just to the right of the bottom half of the giant football) ....
And here's some cheering going on ...

But, the best part for me and the kids is that he got home!

Yep ... we'll have to all go together to the next bowl game.

Snow Much Fun!

Started out simple ... last week:

They had to scrape the grass clean to get this little snowman built.  :)  But - they loved it!

Then, the snow reeeeeeeeally started to fall yesterday - and the kids played in it all afternoon and evening.
(I was teaching piano, so I only got this one picture).

But - I stole these pictures from a good friend who had Aaron over!  :) Thanks!

The boys used the snow shovel as a catapult for snow balls.  Pretty ingenious, if ya ask me!

And they got a good start on a snow fort!

Then ... it snowed and snowed and snowed .... school was cancelled ... and we had a snow day!

I still had to sadly and worriedly say goodbye to my hubby so he could get to work (after an hour or so of shoveling)!

But then me and the kids played and played and played and played and played.  I'm beat!  And, I'm sure they'll all sleep well tonight!

Check out our cool "Snow-Day" Slide!

The boys continued their adventuring from yesterday ...

I'm so glad for good buddies like Isaac!  In this picture - it looks like Aaron is taking on ALL three girls in a snowball fight - and claiming victory!!  But, the truth is - he had both Isaac and Max on his team.  :)

And this crazy lady didn't offer toooo much support for the girl's team ... seeing as she was attracted to this snow like a magnet!!

See what I mean?

Seriously - what am I going to do with her?

So - a snow day.  That doesn't happen often in Utah.  I hope the kiddos remember it forever!

It's gonna be a white Christmas!!
