Blue/ White game

We went to the Blue/White game today and had a blast. We all got some sun, saw a few good plays, ate some hot dogs, and cheered for the cougars. For Brent, here are my observations:
1- The defense seems to be pretty dang good. They seemed to put pressure on the qb's nearly every play, and as it was a low scoring affair, they did a good job keeping the offense out of the end zone.
2- Cade Cooper went down with an ankle sprain (or something like that), so a kid named Gaskins stepped into his place, and seemed to be able to move the offense pretty well. I was probably more impressed with him than Max Hall, although Gaskins was going against the second team defense. Max Hall was good as well. I am not worried about the QB position.
3-A receiver named Torvert (or something like that-see picture above) was excellent. He was playing with the second team Offense, but he had good hands, quickness, and seemed to have an ability to get open.
4 -Running backs looked solid even without FUI. Ray Hudson will be a good back, which will be good for who ever starts at QB. The running game should be able to set up the passing game nicely, which should take the pressure off of the QB.
5- Overall I think the offense will be solid. We have good backs, good receivers, and good (but inexperienced) quarterbacks. The defense is better than it was last year- believe it or not- and should keep BYU in games where the offense struggles.
I included the picture of Harline in the BYU game to get y'all excited for the season.
Those are my thoughts.

Nice job Ty. Sounds like we'll have a good football team. It is cool that you could go to the game with the family. Lets go golfing some time. Take care Brent
