Well, I have to admit - we had yet another fabulously successful Cubanapolis this year in Cub Scouts! The bishop invited the whole ward to attend! We had about 100 people there.
Here are the kiddos in their newly modeled cars. Aaron requested a semi ... Optimus Prime in particular. Krystal wanted a pink "punch buggy" convertible, of course. The duct tape was a huge mistake. I ended up having to hot glue these *dam* things together after painting and everything. WHAT. A. HASSLE.
Krystal and Aaron thoroughly enjoyed spray painting and adding details. The details were a lot of work, but they really made the cars - they turned out spectacular, don'tcha think?
And they are ready to race!! (thanks to the hot glue ... otherwise these puppies would be falling apart at every turn!)

The last pit stop is to take off his helmet, comb his hair 10x, take a picture, and get his helmet back on.
After the cubs race, the other kiddos got to participate in a relay race with their box cars. Krystal could not stop smiling through the whole thing (granted - getting her to stop smiling is a tricky ordeal :)).
And, of course - we have to have the "flat tire" dessert. Mmmmmmm Mmmmmmm Good!
What could be better than donuts and icecream?
Aaron received the "Best Bling" award and the "Best Design" award. Nice job, bud!
WHEW! Yet another year of pack meetings down. How long does the cub master calling usually last? ;)

How cute! I think it's great that you are making this a tradition. I'll have to talk to our cubmaster. We only did it the one time.

Ty may be in there for a while - he's doing too good of job to be released.
