How about the japanese beetle battle going on right here in North Orem, eh? We are actually part of the quarentine zone. Apparantly these bugs have no predators and are destroying everyones' gardens and plants. Spraying begins next week.
Also - does anyone know anything about the locust infestation in Boxelder? Crazy bugs!!

Leisy's students have been on the search for the japanese beetles. She told them she will give whoever brings them in extra credit! She already has a few to add to her collection!
I really don't like beetles. They are kind-of gross. What are the beetles called that hiss? Are there any? I just remember that one just about flow into me and was hissing? I'm I makeing that up about the hissing?
