Marissa's first day of 5th grade! Can you believe it? She was so excited to get to school ... she was up and going on her own ... and completely ready 30 minutes early! What a cutie. AND - she's just as excited to go again tomorrow. Of course, her glasses broke this morning on her way out the door. So, that was frustrating. I'll have to take them in tomorrow to get them fixed. My sweet little baby - where is time going?Aaaaaaaaand ... our super fun trip to IKEA today. Driving arrangements .... well, everyone knows that M is the favorite - and all the littles won the fight to go with her. :D! I only remembered to take pics of us eating lunch. The rest of the time, I was too busy shopping. I was planning on spending $15.00 for a cool knife ... but ended up spending $50.00. Agh! Do you think if I just kinda say, "uhhh ... I spent fift -- dollars," I'll get away with it? That's my plan, 'cuz ain't nothin' goin' back.
Hmmm ... has anyone seen Krystal's other shoe? Shoot! I hope I came home with it! ;)

Wow! 5th grade! How exciting. And you did much better getting out of Ikea then I did a few months ago. We couldn't get out in under two *cough*dred dollars! Yikes!
marissa you look so cute on your first day of school. annie loved the first day too. so when i went to pick annie up at school i was the first mom there and the last to leave annie had to talk with all her friends after. drives me crazy!
Sorry but i have to leave a comment on ikea! im glad you guys love that place i cant STAND it. every time i go there the place make me nauesus! i always leave without anything! So i guess chris is happy about that! love you guys lets hang!
I have a love/hate relationship with the first day of school. I love having time alone, but it is hard to leave them there all day long. I have an anxiety attack after I leave them there. Teylor and Jess started yesterday too. It broke my heart to leave Teylor! She will love it though.
Ikea= stress. The first time I went, I was overwhelmed and spent $0. But I live 5 minutes away, so I can go back anytime.
we just found out that we have an ikea less than an hour away! its up in michigan! hooooray! we love ikea.
Ikea was fun! I have one rule for my car it's - we get to listen to music really LOUD and Dance in our sets. So that's why the kids LOVE going places with me. They are so silly!! They love to copy the moves I do in my seat. It's great to watch them try to do the same thing!
I can't believe that Marissa is going into 5th grade. I remember being in 5th grade. I thought I was sooooo big. (just because I was taller then EVERYONE in the class) but still I remember 5th grade and I loved it. She will have tons of fun. The pictures I so cute!!
It feels like you're throwing them to the wolves sometimes, but the kids adjust and do so well. I'm really happy for Missy-D, so glad she's loving it! Can't believe Aaron is starting kindergarten. Krystal will be your little buddy all day.
